Rockstar has explained the other day’s delay of Grand Theft Auto V to September 2013. In a update towards original delay post on its official site this weekend, a Rockstar representative explained “sometimes such delays should be made in most kinds of entertainment, and especially regarding a game experience as massive and complex as GTAV.”

The post continues, elaborating that “to the people individuals saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being another ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they’re all nonsense – literally the only reason we’ve delayed the release is really because we’d like the overall game for being as well as it needs to be.”

Finally, Rockstar explained how the official box art for Grand Theft Auto V — that is previously supposed to place January — “will likely be released a lttle bit later at the same time.”

Previously, speculation suggested that Rockstar could be delaying the game in order to align with the upcoming release of next-generation consoles. For now, Grand Theft Auto V stands as the latest confirmed release of 2013, one month behind Splinter Cell in August.

Rockstar would eventually love creating one Grand Theft Auto game wonderful previous cities from your series. In the interview with Digital Trends, Rockstar North head Leslie Benzies said he envisions players having the capacity to travel backwards and forwards to revisit places they explored in past games.

“Naturally sooner or later we wish to have one big world containing the whole cities and allow player fly with shod and non-shod and revisit a common areas,” Benzies said. “For the reason that context re-imagining Vice City could well be very worthwhile.”

When it comes to Vice City returning to be a future setting, Benzies said “it will always be plausible. There are many references for the city in this current-gen GTAs so it will be section of that HD universe, and it’s also certainly somewhere we will wish to revisit. However Vice City, perhaps a lot more than any other GTA game, was just as much concerning the era as being the setting. Miami in the 1980’s is really iconic it’d feel strange to revisit the town in a different timeframe.”
